From the Dashboard, you can temporarily pause your study. While paused, your study will be unavailable to new participants. When you are ready to restart your study, it's as simple as clicking a button.
How Do I Pause My Study?
You can pause a study by clicking the "Pause" button near the bottom of the study Dashboard. Pausing a study makes it temporarily unavailable to new participants. While a study is paused, you can edit study settings like increasing the number of participants you wish to collect data from. When you pause a study, any participants who are active in the study at the time of the pause will have an opportunity to complete the study.

When your study is paused, the button you used to pause it will change to say "Restart." When you're ready to resume data collection, simply click "Restart" and your study will go live.
NOTE: Restarting a study does not happen immediately. The restart process can take time because workers active in the study must complete the study or abandon the HIT before your study can be fully restarted.
